DO YOU HUNGER AND THIRST FOR THE TRUTH?

People are tired of a mock, pseudo, superficial Christianity. Despite all the hype and emotionalism, IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS, much of modern Christianity is nothing more than a "FORM of Godliness, WITHOUT THE POWER." (2 Timothy 3:5) There is a new, God-sent THIRST and HUNGER amongst a relatively small but GROWING remnant of people, who want a TRUE, PLAIN SPOKEN, biblically accurate interpretation and exposition of God's Word. That's what we're offering at Plymouth. Interested?

THIS WEEK...Pastor Glenn’s teaching will be based on Matthew 16:13-20 and is entitled “Just Jesus.” If someone asked, “Upon what is the church built?” could you tell them? If someone says, “I’m into Jesus, but I’m still not going to church...no way!” how would you respond? Are you really into church? You ought to be. Find out why? See you Sunday, August 24, at 10:30 a.m. We'll save you a place!

What's New
       New Bible Study Starting
For over 2,000 years, the Psalms have been the worship book of Christians. On Tuesday, September 16th, 6:00 p.m., we'll begin an exploration of this God-inspired collection of songs and prayers. We'll focus on connecting our own faith journeys to passion, promise, and praise found in the Psalms. On the way, we'll consider the literary style and structure of the Psalms, as well as identify types of Psalms. We'll even write some Psalms of our own! Join us as we grow in faith by reflecting on the messages of the Psalms for us today. You may sign up by calling the church office (633-6039). The guide for this study is $16.00. However, if you cannot afford the book, one will be provided at no cost to you. The Reverend Kathy Sell will be leading this study. (Pastor Glenn is familiar with this study and highly recommends it.)
